    AS2/AS3 help

    Hello,

    alright, so I've got a Java TCP socket server and I'd like it to connect to flash using Socket, and I understand that Socket is only compatible with AS3. Is there a way where I can kind of "mix" these two languages? As in, the main game is coded in AS2 while the server is in AS3? I doubt this is possible, but I'm just asking.

    I don't think AS2 and AS3 can communicate, as far as I know. You'll probably have to rewrite your app in AS3.
