Are Flash and HTML5 the solution?

Currently there are big movements in the stock market. The economies in the whole world are at a low. One reason are the large debts, which force governments to cut important programs for the middle class and the poor, while the rich get away with tax cuts and big gains again to become richer.

Has capitalism in its present unregulated form failed and drives states into oligarchies and a large cohort of poor people?

Is the answer to all that the northern European model such as in Sweden, Denmark etc, where people have the world's highest quality of life?

Shall we all escape into a flash-html5 dreamworld until it's all over?

The market
The stock market is finally feeling the pinch of overratted values. Speculation always only holds out for so long. After that time the company has to move product. If the company can't sell the product to consumers the stock falls. Income and employment have both fallen. As well the both a rise in food prices and the housing issue is coming home to roost. If you are in a house you can't afford or have had the house repo'd and now you have to budget for the higher price of food you don't have spendable money for other things.

Wall street has forgotten that without consumers they have nothing.

No hope there Obama is a moderate republican with no backbone. He won't get a fight from the left so he's a shoe in for the next election.

It's the answer for them it will never fly in America. We're just to stupid to realize what's good for us as a nation. We don't think of ourselves as one people. And so long as that goes on we are easily divided and conquered by the rich.

HTML5 is a joke so long as it is not standardized. The weak minded at the top of the chain have fallen for it hook line and sinker. Even if there was a uniform standard for html5 and it was universally accepted it still wont be as good as flash for the next 15 years.
