Weird Issue Deletes Everything in my file

I just stumbled upon this issue about 75% into my flash presentation. It seems when I make a movie clip now, it deletes everything in my flash file (luckily, I didnt hit save). Check out the screencast I made and let me know if you have any ideas.

EDIT: on second thought, I just rewatched the screencast, and you can clearly see that you're on the last Scene 1 scene, and when you create the symbol, you get jumped back to the first Scene 1!!! DON'T USE SCENES, THEY'RE EVIL!

You should notice that you have 3 Scenes with the same name, Scene 1, Scene 1 and Scene 1, which is most likely what's causing the problem! If it isn't, then I'm not sure. Try saving the empty file as its own FLA file, and then check if the size of the empty FLA file is the same as the original or not!
