    Exclamation PV3D coordinates

    Hello,

I am trying to replicate position of objects from 2D environment in 3D environment. I have tried various methods and spent around two weeks in getting it right. However the precision is always elusive. I am using the 'Y' coordinate from 2D for 'z' in 3D. The X remains same for both 2D and 3D. The Y in 3D is a hard-coded value I provide.

One thing I observed is that even if I change the center point of the do3D object, the vertices remain in the same position as earlier, as if just the object has shifted, but the vertices retain same old positions. This probably is the issue I guess, but I dunno any solution to it. The center point I have given to the do3D—which acts as parent object for 3D objects—is same as that of the 2D coordinates which I am using to create a room. I am shifting it to ensure that the room rotates from center and not from 'X-0, y-0 2D coordinates'. This is throwing my positioning haywire probably.

Please please I request for urgent help here.

    Many thanks in advance.

    VP

You might get a response if this were in the 3D section of this forum.

    Thanks rynoe!

Thanks rynoe! I shall check the 3D section of this forum.
