I need help with buttons/page transitions

Hi, I'm not sure where to begin with this. been a really long time since I've built something in Flash.

What I am trying to do is build a carousel type thing where I'm going to have a image with 2 arrows (forward and back) and a set of page numbers.
Each time you hit the arrow the flash will go to a different frame and show different text. At the same time I would like to be able to select the numbers to go to that frame as well and have the numbers either change color or be underlined to show what page you are currently on.

I'm not sure how to begin with the coding. I have a rough setup of the scene and will need to rearrange the timeline as I go on.

Here is what the page transition area looks like, any thoughts on how I can acheive what I want?

Okay, it appears what you are asking for isn't difficult. If you are trying to replicate what was in the image this shouldn't be too difficult.
