    Creating motion path from stroke?

    Flash Pro CS5:

Is there a way to create a motion path from a stroke? For example, if I draw a circle with the shape tool, can I use that circular path to make a motion path for another movieclip?

    Thanks!

    WATCH VIDEO TUTORIAL

Basically, you select a Layer, click on the MOTION GUIDE BUTTON to create a motion guide layer, draw a path using lines (you could draw a circle with the oval tool, and then remove the color fill), and then you can use Motion Tween to animate your movieclip following that path.

If you want it done with Actionscript, then it becomes a whole lot more difficult, and it's not really recommended to do so, as you would have to save all the points on the line path manually to an array and make your movieclip move to each one, making it look like a tween. You can't really get the points on the line with actionscript...
    I am back, guys ... and finally 18 :P
