Looping a symbol animation when a stop command has been used
Hi Guys,
I'm trying to make an interactive animation and I have a graphic that is an animation and added to the library as such and this has been placed into the overall timeline. At one point in the overall animation I have stopped everything using the stop command. However I still want this particular piece of animation to play as everything else is paused. What is the best way of going about this.
Any ideas as I've been looking around but don't seem to be getting anywhere. I'm using Flash CS6

Movie clips have independent timelines
If you place it in a separate mc then the timeline inside the mc will govern if the animation is playing or not.
