    Map zoom animation

    Hi All

I am currently working on an animation for a map that zooms in to a certain location. I want to know the best way to get the zoom to look more fluid as at the moment it is just a series of images that make it look jerky but I want it to be a seamless zoo from one image to the next.

I'm pretty sure it is something really simple but cant think of what it is I need to do. It can be seen here http://central-advertising.co.uk/map_zoom.swf

I am using CS5. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

    Cheers Darren

Since your using like 5 or 6 images your going to have to work back and forth with tweens and blurs ((If you cant get the blur right in flash you will have to use a 3rd party or a alpha fade))

So! Take image 1 and tween it bigger as if your zooming in. Then when its big enough to switch over make a copy of it at size and make it a Movie clip, next have it fade out with alpha (or a timeline fade) While its fading out you will already have picture 2 zooming in from underneath. Repeat this with the next 5 or 4 pictures.
How can you say so much, but say so little?
