cs5 pro shape tween issue - animating on different frames within and outside of symbo

    Hey, all.

I'm new to flash and working on a character animation. As described in the title, when shape tweening an object in my scene - inside of the symbol it animates just fine and on the correct frames. However when backing out of the symbol - for whatever reason - it shows the animation several frames later than it should.

I'm hoping this is an easy fix AND a rookie mistake that can be easily avoided in the future. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

Sounds to me that your character animation is in a graphic symbol, and inside the property setting, the "loop" is set to a different frame than 1.

The other thing that could be happening is it is a Movie Clip, and the movie clip only shows the first frame of a nested animation, you have to test the movie to see the actual results.

When you test the movie is it still out of sync?
