    Hi,

Its a drag I know, I've had a few failures (Hard Drives that is) in my time, music, files, work stuff, films everything.
I don't know to what extent your failure is but have you tried using it as a slave drive?? this has worked for me before just to be able to get the data off.

You can end up making back ups of back ups of backups, bits of stuff i really need have been copied to discs and also flash sticks.

I'm sure you know all about that sort of thing though.

    Alloy Bacon,

Search for SpinRite on th e web, put your damaged harddisk as a slave, run it. I will fix it enough to recover your data to a new harddisk. Also try Recuva. Hope that helps.

I have lost my data a lot of times. Games, music, videos, animations, important info, bookmarks, songs lyrics i composed/written, I know that feel.

    Hi,

Ah Angel, the good old gibson research company days, used to use them to test firewalls, still do actually.
Alloy, not sure why you went all sarcastic about the hard drive size, its true, and sata/ide connections are the same size.

Glad you got some stuff back, looking forward to debugging/testing your game with you.
