I'm making an animated chart to embed in Powerpoint, and was wondering if the animation bkg can be made transparent. I'm not exporting html, just the .swf.

The stage background doesn't seem to have a transparent bkg option, nor can I find any info in the book 'Flash 5 Bible"....has anyone out there done this? and how?

As far as I know a flash swf can only have a transparent background in a html page being viewed by Internet explorer.

If I am wrong someone please correct me but I have a feeling im right.

Best of luck to ya and sorry.

Though this thread is to old to reply. But it's important.Insert transparent flash into powerpoint-----really hard to do .
I have been looking for the method for ages. But i haven't found a solution. So,I decide to make it myself. A transparent flash control works...

    See what i did...........
