How to use links in text area in AS3

I am doing a project using ESPN api. I have a list of headlines in an array, and I put thisarray into a text area. I want to be able to click on these headlines to send the user to the page of the news article. I also want to be able to hoover over the headline and it turn blue. Are there any ways to do this in a text area?

Just flank the headlines by html tags.
