How do I get rid of this weird grey line in my animations?

    Hi,

    I have a problem.

There is this weird grey line in my animations. See the picture-

I tried changing the background, width etc, etc no way of fixing it.

    How do I fix this?

    Thanks.

(note: i just can view the mentioned line pushing up the gamma)

Well, is the logo a bitmap image inside the Flash movie? Have you tried cropping a bit the source image? Maibe it was a JPG in the origin, and the compression caused a non-uniform border...

Another idea: the movie background (0, 0, 0) isn't the same exact color that the logo background (2, 1, 1). Could be related to this?

I'm a newbie in flash, so im not sure what you meant by gamma.

Yes, I put the pictures in as .jpg, so I think that's where the issue came from.

How do I crop in flash?

About the "gamma", it's just the brightness (from an image, or from the monitor). Never mind, my monitor is setted very dark.

    Related to your problem:

    1) It's useful to work with PNG instead JPG, as it hasn't compression, and doesn't modifies the image at all. (Ok, JPG files are small, but if you haven't a lot, with PNG you'll get almost the same Kbs, and better quality).

    2) You can crop the image before importing it in Flash (with something like IrfanVIew, or Photoshop).

    3) Anyway, it's also possible to crop inside Flash. If you wonder how to do this, you can google for "how to crop with flash", and probably you'll get back to Flashkit:
