Publish using ActionScript 2.0 using Flash CC

I'm creating very basic banner ads which basically just scroll between 2 images and link to a site.

When using CS6, I published my .swf files using ActionScript 2.0 because it made the .swf files about half the size of ActionScript 3.0. Now, I am on Flash CC, and I am unable to change to ActionScript 2.0 in the Publish Settings.

I have 2 questions, and would appreciate feedback on either or both.

1.) Why does saving with 2.0 create such smaller files, when I have almost no ActionScript in the file?
2.) Is there a way to publish an .swf using ActionScript 2.0 in Flash CC?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

This will answer your question 2 (after "A few things you might not like because they are now deprecated") and other things, possibly number 1 too.
