    What do you mean, are you trying to create a game using Macromedia 5? I haven't tried using it yet for game creation.

    Flash CC and its CS predecessors, imho, went probably as far as Macromedia 9 would. Next to none progress. Most of new stuff happened in flex and air sdks, and those can be used just fine with assets prepared in any Macromedia versions of flash.

    I don't understand. Macromedia was the name of a company that Adobe bought out. They made Flash and Director. Do you mean "Macromedia Director"?!?!?
