Flash vs After Effects
Flash is dead for web. So I switch my skill in Flash to make vfx for movie. Flash is simple, light and fast. Here is my first experiment video vfx, 100% animated and render in Flash. Only video editing I done in Adobe premiere. Of couse flash not advanced like After Effects. But this idea will tell you what Flash can do for vfx. Enjoy the FAKE trailer - LOL!

Unfortunately this video is not available now. By the way my question is not for video it is for "Flash vs After Effects" . You said "Flash is dead for web" and you switched it. So now your present tool is After Effects. I'm new and beginner I need to learn about flash type work. Is "after effects" right & enough for me?

no cant, You can use flash to create cartoonish animation or some motion graphics staff, but in after effects you can learn composing, motion graphics, and etc
If you like VFX more than motion graphics? you can start learning from Andrew Kramers tutorials http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/
or cources from digital tutors http://www.digitaltutors.com/softwar...ects-tutorials

Adobe flash is multimedia platform where you can do 2D animation and video to web pages. It is mainly used for advertisement and games. Where as Adobe after effects is platform which you can used to do motion graphics, compositing etc. It's main purpose is for video post production and films.
