    Hi,

It should be no different to when somebody started leating AS2 for the first time, it is slightly longer in places, but much much better.
It also doesnt allow for sloppy code really, and you cant just go making random variables here and there without declaring them etc etc.

Loops arrays whiles etc ect are stil the same, its just the listeners really, get in there.

IMHO... with the jump to AS3 being so much harder/steeper learning curve.. it was a turn off to many.

When things started to really go toward AS3... flash was on its way out.

It cant natively be played on iOS devices... which effectively cuts out about half (more?) of your target audience. Why start to tackle AS3?

As always.. use the best tool for your needs... and skill set. As long as the UX doesnt suffer its all good.

Really ActionScript 3.0 it's more usefull, but, in my opnion, the syntax of AS3 it got really bad, it's more hard to developer projects. So tell me, how do I migrate my knowledge of as2 to as3, but without internet connection?

CrazY, print this http://web.archive.org/web/200703040..._migration.pdf and tape it to the wall next to your desk. For some perspective, it was created on March 01st, 2007 so a bit over 10 years now - that's how long AS2 was dead.
