Flash content in a responsive web design

I am investigating how to add Flash to a web page via swfobject.js that is compatible with responsive web design.

I have created a simple example using swfobject.js:
    http://www.koolmoves.com/responsive/...esponsive.html

You can view the source by right-clicking in the web browser.

When the browser width is reduced below 1200 pixels (at 100% zoom), the flash content begins to scale horizontally. When the browser width is less than 950 pixels, the flash content disappears and non-flash content appears in its place.

If you have improvements on this approach, I am very interested.

I adapted the approach explained in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nVWSh5pxZU

My next example will be using an iframe. I presume that would be the preferred approach for adding flash to a web page created by a CMS system like Wordpress.

Once these approaches are refined, I will fold some of this into KoolMoves export.

I created an iframe example based on ideas from http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2014...onsive-design/

You can see the example at http://www.koolmoves.com/responsive/...esponsive.html

You can view the source by right-clicking in the web browser.

When the browser width is reduced below 1200 pixels (at 100% zoom), the flash content begins to scale horizontally (and vertically which is different from the swfobject example). When the browser width is less than 950 pixels, the flash content disappears and non-flash content appears in its place.

Bob - Since most sites are now responsive, I wanted to see what new develops you have initiated to address creating animation / movies on mobile / responsive sites. I just downloaded the newest version of Koolmoves, but didn't see anything in the docs addressing this. The above examples from several years ago isn't really responsive since it bombs out at 950px. Since more than 1/2 of today's users are using mobile devices and growing more everyday, and being able to address the lower spectrum of devices, ie 390px - 500px is a given. I love your program and used it a lot when I was creating adaptive websites, but times have changed and it seems all my clients want responsive now. Just wanted to see if, or how, you've addressed this. Look forward to hearing from you, Bob.

    Thanks!
    Bruce

Sorry I didn't see this sooner.

Responsive is addressed through the Html5 or Flash export. There is also a short article which I wrote regarding responsive Flash -- http://www.koolmoves.com/responsive-flash.html
