Thread: Strange problem loading SWFs

    Question Strange problem loading SWFs

Grateful if anyone can help troublehsoot this strange problem.

On my website, I have a number of pages with embedded SWFs, and normally they load just fine when I just type in the page url directly in browser or click the internal site links. But if I google my game using Chrome, for example "WordIt 2" or "Triangular 2048" and then click the google search result to my site, the SWFs will load and either be irresponsive (for wordit 2) or fail to trigger game over events (this is the case for Triangular 2048).

Both games are built with Flash Pro CC / AS3, and include SWCs from Google Analytics for Flash, Greensock/TweenLite and Playwire.

I've tried a few things already but find it hard to figure out what the problem is. Any ideas?

If the swfs aren't located on the same server then you could be experiencing sandboxing problems. Very annoying problem.

Yup, the SWFs are on the same domain, so it shouldn't be a sandboxing problem. Thanks for the suggestion though.
