resolved [RESOLVED] Scripted drawing in working environment

    Using Macromedia Flash Profesional 8

I would like to script the creation of some lines in a frame/layer.
I do a lot of perspective drawing and would like to be able to use a for/next statement to create custom perspective grids of grey lines to use as a reference when drawing other layers. It is no help to me to make them appear at runtime, I want to generate them to the working document so I can use them as guides for drawing my other layers. I've been googling for hours, so I hope someone here can give me a suggestion.
My only other option is to generate them in another program and import them as a bitmap - which seems really lame.

Found my answer! I can import javascript commands from a jsfl file to use in the working environment - so I can script all sorts of repetitive tasks. So I guess this wasn't an actionscript question afterall - I just assumed they would use actionscript for doing macros within the work environment.
