Hi! I've tried taking tutorials for Flash 5, but most tutorials assume that the person taking the tutorial has previous experience with Flash. I have all these "help tutorials" downloaded, and while they walk you through the process, I don't know what a motion tween or alpha is. I have absolutely no clue how to do anything. I tried taking the Flash 5 beginner tutorial featured on this site, but there is a file/page missing.
Are there any other tutorials I can take for Flash 5? Is Flash really this hard?

Hi, and welcome to Flash Kit.
You really need to get a book on basics and proceed from there. Most tutorials presume that you know the terminology at least;
A motion tween is just an ordinary piece of animation where something moves as opposed to a shape tween where something changes it's shape.
Alpha is the opacity / transparency of an object. Alpha = 0 makes it invisible and Alpha = 100 makes it fully visible. Any value in between will make it partially transparent.

If you read the Tutorials that come with flash under the 'help' menu it will tell you all the basics.
