I'm making an actual 3D globe by importing a continents file from 3DS Max (got it from 3DCafe) and when I animate (rotate) it and send it back to Flash, it doesn't turn out very good, there is some weird lighting effects that cause it to look like you know what...

    Anybody have any ideas?

I recently did a globe, the continent that you also got. In the bottom left of your Swift Window, there are two boxes with large circles. Play around with the second box. Thats the Lighting bit. I had the same problem and the colours came out odd. Grey but darker and lighter which looked bad.
    Hope that helps

Yea, I tried changing the lighting positions, colors, number of lights, etc. but nothing worked.

    Thanks though.
