I read that thread... and if it ever does get through the legalities... I think it will take some time for it to grow into a good resource. First.. the word needs to get out... then more work will need to be done to the site (it's in it's BETA stage for lack of a better word)
To me... http://www.ework.com is an EXCELLENT "contract-for-hire" site, that companies use for temp to perm contracts. You may want to check it out. They are a very reputable and legitimate company that goes about contracting the "right way" if there is such a thing. Of course.. this is opinionated.
