I'm currently working on a flash piece that calls text externally from a txt document. My text in the .swf file seems to be choppy or pixelated. Is this something I can fix or does this happen when calling text externally. I would prefer text that looks antialiased.

    Thx

    Hi, and welcome to Flashkit...

In the text options panel there is an option to Embed Fonts...make sure this is checked before you export...

A note though....large blocks of text, paricularly at small point sizes tend to lookl blurry and hard to read when anti-aliasing is applied...just something to keep in mind...

    Cheers,

    K.

I have also found that if you stretch the text box in Flash, then import the text the text takes on the properties of the stretched textbox. Just a possibility.
