Here is my question...
I know how to account for different screen resolutions, but I have seen somewhere a chart of some kind that gives you the actual usable screen resolution for the most popular resolutions available...for instance
A screen size of 640 X 480 will allow a designer to use 500 X 300 of the screen for graphics if you take into account the size of the browser and the toolbar...
Does anyone know where I can find this chart, or one simmilar to it...

well last time this question was answered mg33 posted this very useful artifcle from webmonkey sizing up the browser. has a chart for mac and pc and of the common browsers.
i usually use joen's article in his turtleshell guide. here's a direct link to the printable version.
