I have created a masterpiece in flash. Well, its kinda cool. Anyways, I brought it into director and it worked great, however I am going to need it to be multi-platform, so I opened it on a mac, and all of the action scripting in the .swf is IGNORED.

    I have tried the following:

    - re-exporting the .swf from flash on the mac
    - re-importing the swf into director on the mac

The flash file works good by itself, but it seems director is ignoring the action scripting.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

    No Browser

    Sorry if I was unclear,

there is no browser issue at all. The problem is inside director. It ignores action scripts which make the flash swf act correctly. This is before exporting or anything else.

    only on mac..

    ...

I say check plugin because I once had a problem on the mac and it all turned out that the browser only had flash3 plugin which does not support actionscripting.

    hope you find your answer..
