Thread: Chinese encoding in Flash? Can it be done and how?

    Someone mailed me and asked if I can change my Flashchat ( http://www.neo-ego.com/chat ) into the Chinese language. I have no idea how this works. Do I have to embed a chinese font or do I need a Chinese Flash 5 for that?

    Hi alicemac,

    Flash US does not support 2byte characters like Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, ...

    So, you need a 2byte version of flash as you already expected.
