    resolved [RESOLVED] OSX Background

Ok, who can give me a step-by-step of how to make the OS X background. You know, the kind of white and grey scanline effect? Or better yet, send me to a site with a tutorial on it. Thanks,

    hi again no1 way:

digimart plug called scanline only ever used it on macs never seen it 4 the pc (if u find it let me know)

good old fashioned way (boring as ****)

create line on new layer duplicate layer

    move down 2 pixels

leaves a gap in between (like my typing)

    merge layer duplicate layers

move down etc etc you get the idea gets faster towards the end

    good eh!!

    all the best

There are Xenofex filters, one of them is doing the job.
Manually draw an horizontal 1pixel tall line, in a new layer. Make a rectangular selection of 2 pixels high which includes your line and define it as a pattern.
Erase all and paint the layer with your pattern. Use SoftLight or something as a blending type.
    Peace
