i am sooo lost!!!!!!!! NEED HELP BADLY!!!!

i am making a rollerblading game and i need the guy to go up to the ledge and then jump then grind. i want to use the keys to do this and not the mouse. i want him to start rolling on SPACE and go to the start of the stairs and if he doesnt jump by the top stair he falls. i need him to jump also, i also want to use the space bar for this action. then i need him to do grinds with different keys.
i dont know how to use the keys or make a clip follow a path so i need help with that.

i messed with it a bit this morning and figured out how to make it go in path but now i just need to know how to use the keys instead of the mouse. when you hit space when the game starts, i want it to make the guy follow the path which is called ("start") but all i want to know is how to use the keys.
