Mouse question

Two things. Both related.

When I open the page that has my Swish made flash movie within I want to be able to move the mouse over the movie and things happen. At the moment I have to click the movie once before actions happen. How is this effected. I have seen other sites get around this security issue. Is it just a matter of changing the html.

Secondly I want the mouse to move over the movie and at the same time a slight glow to highlight what I'm pointing at? How can I effect this via masks?

It's called click to activate.

The problem relates to IE and how it is allowed to display media since a successful lawsuit by a company named EOLAS.
