    Flash Focus

    I have noticed that in IE in particular you have to click atleast once on the flash movie to be able to control it...for example...I have an XML populated list of XML files which you can load using a button...however when the movie first loads users are inclined to click a show name, and click launch...(clicking the show name being the first click)...however when they click the show name it does not get selected...since flash did not have focus, thus the first click giving it focus, and not selecting a show...is there any way to avoid this? Any way to force flash to have focus so that users do not have to click once in the movie to be able to begin making selevtions?

    The solution was given to me by a smart person at actionscript.org
