flash / photoshop

I am not too skilled with photoshop but i am trying to integrate some photoshop effects in my flash symbols.
When i copy the symbol in flash, it pastes into photoshop as black and white even if RGB settings are set... Is there something that I am not doing that I should, or is there settings which need to be set to get the colors to come in?

I believe you set it in the Clipboard settings in Preferences.
