    Best flash size

What is the best flash movie size and ratio if I'm making a CD that is to be run on a variety of screen sizes.

Ratio I'm making 1:0.75 and size of 1280X1024. Does that seem right? Also I will make the movie fit 100% of the screen.

    with thanks

yeah, id use the 4:3 ratio for a normal computer monitor. and if its made in flash. the side is really irrelevant. it is vector. which means it can be scaled to any size without distortion. so just use any size that is comfortable for you to work with. maybe 800x600 or 1024x768?

    Appreciate that.

I prefer to use a bigger overall size than smaller when it goes onto a CD rom. The download speed is not an issue via the CD and images always look better if they are reduced tather than enlarged.

As you say the vector side of things just look after themselves. The problem can be encountered when the CD is displayed on a very large screen.

how big of a screen could you possibly be displaying it on? really the size doesnt matter... its the resolution. the highest high-def screen has a resolution of 1920x1080. having a vector image scale from 800x600 to 1920x1080 wont look bad at all...except the fact that itll be stretched wide. if your flash is going to be on a high-def tv, then use a 16:9 ratio.
