XML "Multiple Galleries"... Confusion?

Very confused on how to create XML multi galleries similar to "Scotty's" examples --> http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=87388

I've gone through an XML tutorial on kirupa.com but, still have a long way to go to achieve my goals of a fully functional dynamic menu.

The idea is to break my portfolio in sections (ie: PRINT WORK, WEB, FINE ART) with a separate .swf for each. Then in the folio's have a sub menu. For example (PRINT WORK) would be broken up Ads, Catalogs, Logo's etc... Once these sub categories are clicked ex: "Ads" section, you can navigate this area with forward and back btn's.

I've gotten as for as loading the images / menu / and minimal text dynamically but have not gotten my menu area to work with multiple galleries (Ad's / Cat's / Logo's). Currently they only display the Ad's in all instances.

Also would like to eventually add an informational menu and view btn to help support and explain each work. I included a non dynamic example of this to demonstrate what I'm shooting for. This is also located in the above files. But one thing at a time I suppose. That seems so far away at the moment...

Stuck in a rut...
