    FTC abandons Net Neutrality

    http://www.vnunet.com/vnunet/news/21...net-neutrality

    I can see it now.
My broadband carrier gets paid by yahoo for hits. They don't make any money if I visit google. Who do you think they'll block first?

There are a lot of compelling arguments against a net neutrality system. It's not as if large companies aren't already leveraged against smaller ones as it is now.

The Internet needs a makeover. Unfortunately, congressional initiatives aimed at preserving the best of the old Internet threaten to stifle the emergence of the new one.
