Mid-day, middle of summer in London

The photo doesn't really show just how much it's raining right now but you get the idea.

I will gladly trade. We're still a bit "drought-ish" here lately.

Well - I suppose we need the water as well after the last few years droughts but man... on a friday as well.

This rain will bring London's transport system to a stand-still...

Vienna, Austria. Whole week: 37°C (99°F). Seems like it won't change for a while… any tips on how to improve a fan? something like sticking coolpads right behind the fan…

at the countryside (where i grew up, and had a pool), i agree. but in the city, where the streets heat up and all the heat stays in the streets and can't get away: me not likey.

    and i don't like sharing a 50m x 20m pool with 250+ people, but that's what you get here…

37°C would also bring the London transport system to a standstill.

In Texas 99°F is what we call March...although it has been quite nice here lately. Today's high is supposed to be 88°F(31°C) and rainy..

I've just lit our coal fire, never done that in June let alone July. Still, toast for supper, with butter and honey.
