my standalone players are WIN 6,0,21,0 and 5,0,30,0 (my web player is WIN 6,0,29,0).

if i run my test Projector calling NOTEPAD.exe - copied to the fscommand folder in the same directory as my Projector -nothing happens.

If i publish the same test to .swf (FLASH 6) and run with Flash Player 5.0 r30 it works (even with NOTEPAD.exe in the fscommand folder) if i run the same file with Macromedia Flash Player 6.0 r21 it doesn't. has anybody found a working solution? it's is very important.

PS - i cannot publish my final to Flash 5 because i use MX components and actionscript.

You can try LPFlashex for opening any files in any folder as well as run any program in any folder and able to pass parameters to it.
