    What game should I make?

It seems like all the good ideas for games are already taken.

Does anybody have any good idea for a game? Thanks!

Thats a hard one. I usually take games that I like that are on console and remake them 2D like Halo. I never finish my projects though. I have a super smash brothers I might finish sometime. Do an platform/action game like Abuse if you ever played that.

I would make a game you played a lot and which can be done with your knowledge of flash. There some much games I would convert games like Boulder Dash, Commando, Wizzball and all that. I need a 48 day I think...

What I see is a bookcase filled with game magazines.

    The One Amiga
    CU Amiga
    Amiga Forever
    Amiga CD32

and some very old school books.

    Here's another way:

Make your younger (irritating) brother wake you up at 7 on Saturday morning. Then you will have the idea for an amazing fighting game

I tried my own method, and i saw the switch to the light bulb. i can make a game out of that.

I wish I had time to make all the games I have created ideas for

One day I will quit my job and take the "ideas" folder and start making all the new, original, wonderful games.

Until that day I can only dream of them.

If you have so much ideas it might be a good idea to change into the game development business fulltime, if you are not already in. With your knowledge of tilebased games there will be a lot of wonderful games

sadly its not that easy to be full time game developer (i don´t mean having th guts for it,i mean getting enough money to be able to live from it and do the projects you want to).
anyway, tonypa would surely have good chances =)
i think it ain´t bad to try to recreate a game because you loved it when you played and liked it a while ago or just because you want to see if you can do it,but if you want to create something completely new,i suggest you go around in town and look if you see something inspiring (going to the zoo and looking at animals which have strange types of movement or just an awkward look can also be inspiring )

Well, even as a game developer you can't do what you want, except you are the owner of the company. But being paid for it enables you to develop games and also incfluence games which will be developed. But it's not easy to get into the business, yes...

yes, you´re right, what i wanted to say was its not easy to get in a position (in the games industry) where your ideas and opinions on a game project are recognised and made real (as much as possible) . (and as you said,in most companies that ideal point only occurs in the case that you´re the boss)

    1) lol! im making a 2D halo at the moment, i suck at flash tho, so it will be a long time till i finish tho.

    2) I remember Abuse...I still have it on my old (now my sister's) computer. that would be a great remake.

If a game takes me more than a week, I just give up. I'm so sick of it by then

Well that's not me, even if I start with other projects, I never give up on my previous projects till I finish them.
