Basic file compatability question
I'm very new to KoolMoves so this is probably pretty basic.
I have created a KoolMoves sequence and exported this to a .swf file (images, text, fades, and motions scripts). The file runs on my computer just fine, but other users are not able to run the file from their browsers with Flash 6 or 7.
What am I missing here?
Thank you.

You didn't say if the file that is OK to you is running off your local disk or off a file server and if the file that is not OK to others is running off their local disks or off a file server.

Thanks Bob,
My computer is running the file without a file server. I have a copy of the shockwave player installed. Other users are simply trying to launch the .swf on their local drive using a browser.
I guess they need a file server with the correct extensions to run this file if they are not using a SWF player?

They need to use File > Open in their browser. Double-clicking won't open the file unless they have the stand-alone player. I suggest that you export the swf plus the html file and send them both files. Double-clicking on the html file will cause the swf file to play in their browser.
