He has risen!
Hoffa's wasting my tax dollars
Alright, this really angers me. Why the hell is the FBI still looking for Jimmy Hoffa????? Who really cares? We know he's dead...what's uncovering the body going to do for anybody? He was a mobster/teamster who probably deserved what he got... It's been 31 freakin years!!! Just let it go! Stop wasting our tax money on this.
This isn't some drama on TV, so why are they making it out to be like that? Ugh! I'm pissed!
MILFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - For 31 years, Jimmy Hoffa’s disappearance has spawned endless theories about his whereabouts.
Now the FBI is investigating another as it searches a rural horse farm outside Detroit after receiving a tip agents call the best they’ve had since the former Teamsters boss went missing.
“This is the best lead I’ve seen come across in the Hoffa investigation,” said Daniel Roberts, the agent in charge of the Detroit FBI field office.

if one of your family members was murdered, would you want the authorities to just stop looking?

New Wave
I'm on both sides of the fence. On one hand, yes it's annoying that tax dollars go to trying to find this guy. On the other hand you can't expect the FBI to just ignore significant leads in a murder case. Every murder case should be solved, no matter who it was or how long ago it happened. Whether he was a good guy or a bad guy should be irrelevant.
Unfortunately in the real world cases like these get more attention and focus than a regular Joe Schmo who nobody knows.

lots of Joe schmo cold cases get solved too. but, im definitely not for wasting tax dollars either (we're bleeding taxes in far greater quantities in other ways). it would probably be more effective to estimate what the FBI would spend investigating the case and offer that amount as the reward for solving. we'd probably get his remains in a couples days.
