[RESOLVED] Need XML-Driven Flash Map
I need to create an XML driven Flash map that displays hotspots and allows users to mouse-over and click on the hotspots.
General requirements:
- The map is of fixed size
- Load the map background from the XML file
- Load the hotspots from the XML file
- When the visitor mouse over the hotspot, display a text area (fixed size) with the text, as specified by the XML file
- If the visitors click on the hotspot or the text area, they go to the link, as specified by the XML file
I can provide all the graphics elements used in the Flash.
If you are interested, please provide rough estimate and timeline.
Thank you!

Hi..did you have a prefererence of an API that you wanted to use?
I have some experience with the Yahoo! Maps/Flash API..
making customerSWFmarkers, and 'balloons' to display any content.. video, images, .swf's...etc..
up to you really..
here is a quick DEMO

Take a look at this:
http://www.letsdesign.co.uk/flash_ap...ctive_map.html
It uses XML to generate the content (sites), feel free to look at the rest of the portfolio.
Send me further details via my email address (on my site) and I will provide a quote for the work.
Best regards,
David
