    mpeg for opera/wii?

    is there support or a hack to get mpeg support for opera running on the wii?

    WannaBe I'm pretty sure that's to convert home files to move physically to the Wii, via a memory card or such storage. Where as what left eye is requesting (which I've been interested in myself) would allow for a codec that views videos right online, if I understand correctly.

    opera doesn't play videos? is it a stripped down version on there?

    virgo, you've got it exactly.

    yeah, opera only plays FLV's, no quicktime or mpg support. Kinda sucks for anything outside of youtube.

    So is it a stripped down opera? Can't install plugins from within the browser?

    Yeah, its very rudimentary. As far as I know there isn't anything out there yet, Lefteye. I think that should be their next big upgrade.

    no doubt. If I could use netflix's watch now section on the Wii I'd have the tv we always dreamed of.
