[F8] rotate/pan camera (POV) in flash

How would I go about trying to rotate 1/4 turn around an object in flash? would I just rotate the object? How do you make it look like the camera is moving and not the object? Does anyone know of any tutorials?

Flash is not a 3d rendering technology. Objects on your stage are only two dimensional. If you had a view of your object from front/side/back/side then you could mimic rotation, but that's about all.

It is possible to draw simple geometric objects (like a cube) but they tend to look really primitive.

    teifflerase,

Flash is not the right solution for what you are looking to do. If your positive you want to do this in flash, then there are other progams to assist in what you are trying to do.

Swift3d by electric rain is one program that you can try. Ive used it before and been happy with its results. However this is for animation only, and technically cannot be dynamic in its animation...
