Newbie Question re: multiple videos on one page

Hello - totally new here and have been playing with flv on my site.

I have a couple of questions hopefully I can get answered painlessly.

    1. I want to have multiple flv videos on my site but not within the same player. Looking to show 3 or more videos one beneath the other. Can I use the same player.swf on the page or do I need to rename the player1, player2 and configure the code for each individual video to use a uniquely named player?

    2. I have this MASSIVE blank space beneath my player that I can't do anything with. Here is the site - view the source and maybe someone can point me in the right direction to cure this unused real estate problem.

    Thanks.

You can have multiple videos play in the same "player".

Put a different flv in each frame of your swf file. Then create a button that goes to the next frame and there you go. All in one swf file. If you use progressive when importing the video files, make sure you have uploaded the flv files (and skins) as well as the swf. Hope this helps you.

Thanks for the information. I may not have explained myself or what I was trying to accomplish but I want to avoid having them in the same player. I would like to place them on different parts of the same page.

    Block of text

    video 1

    Block of text

    Video 2

    Block of text

    video 3

    etc...

    Thanks.

Oh...and I figured out the blank space was the playlist so I removed that from the skin reference and that took care of that.

    oh!

If it is a flash page, sure, you can simply import your videos and movie them around the page like objects. If they are small video files you can even import them directly into the time line and have them show up on stage as mc's. Very handy!

    Hope that explains it better.
