[F8] Flash Video w/multiple flvs

I have multiple flvs.

I would like for the first flv to loop until someone clicks play on the player at which time the 2nd should play. When the 2nd finishes I would like for it to go back to the first and loop.


I have tried all kinds of things to make this work. I am a web designer and this is my first attempt with flash. I am almost embarrassed to admit how many hours I have at this.


I have managed to make something that almost works with custom flvplayer components but I am unhappy with the way the controls look. I would really like to do this with a typical looking flash player.

In addition this needs to be done with progressive download instead of
embed.


Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, welcome to FK... have you got any code with which we can work from? (rather than building one from scratch for you) .. how much video have you worked with? if you are a beginner i would recommend checking out the video tutorials at www.gotoandlearn.com .. and check out the Video Basics tutorials

if you still are unsure or face problems after this, then post back here with any questions

P.S I also have a video jukebox you can download from my library.. and which you can modify according to your needs..

I have tried serveral of the tuts listed at the above link over the last 2 weeks none worked. I know its me and my lack of knowledge of flash. In the beginning I thought that a preloader was another movie. I have since learned the different.

Recently I tried to create my player using by Controlling Flash Video with the FLVPlayback Behaviors

The actionscript this created was long and very complex.

To be very honest I am not sure what I am doing. LOL

I really need direction. I looked at www.gotoandlearn.com. This is very nice site.

I think its best that I just give more information in the hopes of being pointed in the right direction.


The site I am working on is www.dreamhouseforkids.org. On the index page I have a video.

The dhvideo function as is but the customer would like and animated image looping in place on the body of the player until someone clicks play at which time the main video is to play.

In the course of this I created a swf file with koolmoves. I would really like to use this because its of better quailty than the flv I did later its located at www.dreamhousforkids.org/video/preloader.swf

In the process of all of this I converted the preloader.swf to preload12.flv

The reason I converted to flv is because I thought it would be easier to manage and give me the ability to finish this project.


I am at a complete loss. I am sure what I am trying to do is possible but not sure what to call it or what to search for in order to learn whats needed to pull this off.
