This professional site was done for the national tourism council of Malaysia, to encourage Malaysians to take a vacation every now and then. It's a promotional microsite, where the council pays our company (Hotspotz) to advertise it on our site. The fees are about RM70,000 for a year's worth of advertising (this is bundled with production costs and radio advertising).
I used 2 Flashkit open source movies, and 1 freeware music loop (1) the butterfly mouse chaser, done by Kenrick Buchanan([email protected]) - (2) the text scroller, done by Kristopher([email protected]) - (3)sound loop by ??? - will add this when i find it again. It also uses Colin Moock's Flash checker to check for Flash 5.
The site is pretty simple, most of the animation effects are just tweens and masking - i use some load/unload movies - most of it is just buttons targeting different labels. Voiceovers were recorded in Soundforge by a female colleague.
