Blurry Bitmap Text - Still No Solution?

I have read other pertinent posts regarding this subject and I still cannot figure out why bitmap text in some of my flash movies is blurry. I have tried placing the text only on integer values, as well as the movie clips that contain them; still to no avail. Also, my movie is not scaling at all. I can copy a block of bitmap text from one movie (where it appears fine) to another and it will be blurry. I was just curious if anyone has figured out why this occurs or has any new workarounds. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    blurry text

Hey, I was having the same problem this morning and came here to see if anyone had found anything better than "align to whole integers" since that didn't really work for me last time. But low and behold I went back and tried it and it worked!

Here is what I did. I have text, converted to symbols, converted to buttons on the main timeline. I did some tests and found that the only variable that mattered was Y. It didn't matter what X was. So I went into the button and aligned my symbol to a whole integer (ie. 9.0 not 9.2). Then I came back to the main timeline and aligned the button as well to a whole integer. And it works.

I know it gets more comlicated when you start burrying text in movie clips, but this did in fact work. I think last time I tried it I didn't go into the symbol level as well as button level. Now if we could only get the flash guys to fix this bug!

Ammendment, it seems that sometimes the X coordinate matters. On about 20% of my text.

Also avoid giving the text block "center" alignment.

Also pay attention to what size your text is. I have found you have to be on certain multiples for certain fonts. Most pixel fonts require multiples of "8" pixel font sizes. Check different sizes on the font you are using, just text a few diffrent sizes to see if it makes a difference.
