I've recently entered the world of XML. I've effectively managed to load and Parse my own XML documents, and utilized that wonderful XML to objects function from the gentleman at Juxt (thanks). I'm trying to wrap my head around the realtime communication possibilites of an XML socket. I've read MM's tut's and stuff... I've got the syntax, but the whole model isn't coming together for me. Could someone point me to a tut. or thread they've seen convering the use of the XML socket?. I'm confused particularly by the use of a "session", and whether or not communication within a sessions needs to be continually refreshed... or something... I was trying to get my head round a chat room model and it eludes me. Any help would be appreciated.
