Ok ok ok. PLEASE someone just gimme a clue where to start.

I'm BRAND new to flash, I've been playing with it about a week and have gotten NOWHERE fast. I just picked up hillman curtis's book and its given me a lot of direction. here's the problem, and up til now..nobody will even give me a "try this":

I have my personal site designed in my head and on paper, and it involves windows that pop up within the site. a GREAT example is : http://www16.brinkster.com/puremorning/mysite/

Enter the site and click on the buttons to display the windows. thats what im trying to do. can ANYONE help me or give me a sense of direction on where i can start?!

Like i said..im new so go easy on me
