How to minimize size of flash banner?

Hello

It's peddie here. I have a banner for my site but once I put it in my HTML, takes forever to download, the actual size of it is around the same as you see in Flashkit website but why it is loaded so fast here? Any one can give a tip how to do that?

does it eventually download, or does it just keep going and going and going?

If it eventually does indeed download, I would say you are either on a VERY slow ISP, or you have the site hosted with a VERY slow ISP ;P

If it doesn't download, meaning the browser looks like it's going to, but 10 minutes later it is still thinking about it, then there is a problem with your HTML, usually, the .swf file isn't embedded correctly or is missing all togheter..
